The gonggong, a cone-shelled sea snail from the shallow waters around Bintan, drawn among small waves. A sign of island life and of the sea that feeds it.
A newer regional motif of the Riau Islands, much loved in Tanjungpinang, where gonggong is the favourite local dish.
