Banten

Simbut is the taro plant: its broad, heart-shaped leaves drawn in simple outline with their veins. Read as being able to live anywhere and still be useful, like taro.

Part of the revived Banten batik, worn as office and school batik across the province.

Simbut adalah tanaman talas: daunnya yang lebar berbentuk hati digambar sederhana dengan urat daunnya. Dimaknai sebagai mampu hidup di mana saja dan tetap bermanfaat, seperti talas.
